Motu Eve

Despite the actions of another blogger, this will be the extent of my posting on the Motu Proprio until the document is officially released tomorrow at noon (6 am local time). The document will be released to the media at 9 (3 am local time) and under embargo until noon. Until then, here is the announcement.

Tomorrow, Saturday July 7, the Vatican Information service will transmit a special service for the publication of the Apostolic Letter "Motu Proprio data" of His Holiness Benedict XVI, "Summorum Pontificum," concerning the use of the pre-1970 Roman liturgy. The document will be accompanied by an explanatory Letter from the Holy Father.

I am sure many of you are already putting the champagne on ice.
