Today, on the anniversary, there was a special remembrance in St. Peter's Square. A marble plaque commemorating the day was placed at the spot where the shooting happened.
A procession and prayer service in honor of Our Lady of Fatima was held this afternoon. This evening a fireworks display also commemorated the event. A joyous use of gunpowder.
