Swimming the Tiber

One of my favorite theology professors is Fr. David Stokes. He is a former Episcopalian priest who converted to Catholicism and was ordained a Catholic priest in 2001. He is married and has four children.

Here is a link to an interview between Fr. Giacomo Capoverdi, from Priests for Life, and Fr. Stokes where he talks about his conversion.

And another where he talks about the reformation.

By the way, this is my 500th post.

Fr. Stokes did the Tridentine High Mass once when I was at Holy Name (Providence). Excellent priest.

I also did a funeral Mass with Fr. Capoverdi once at St. Mark's in Cranston. He was curate there at the time. I don't know if he still is. He does Mass with class. He really needs to get a parish of his own (as pastor).

Congrats on 500! ;)
